Pazin Cave is the most picturesque example of natural forces on the rocky terrain of Istria. Beneath the walls of the Castle thousand years, exactly on the border of "gray" and "red" of Istria, the largest Istrian underground Pazinčica found its way through the underground to the river Rasa, and perhaps to the Lim bay in both his novel "Mathias Sandorf" describes the legendary Jules Verne. This extraordinary play of nature inspired many other writers (Nazor, Dante, Yriarte ...) and will certainly inspire you. Pazin abyss is under protection as a significant landscape. The protected area includes the canyon and the abyss Pazinčica, length of 500 meters and a depth of 100 meters, and Pazin pit.
