Roman villa in Valbandonu
It was at the site of inflow of fresh water into the shallow bay Valbandon, the 1909th and 1912. A. The Gnirs discovered remains of two ancient architectural complexes rezidencijskog importance. Certainly the mansion of a Roman villa, which was used from 1 the end of the 4th century belonged to the Ceramic-manufacturing complex Gaja Lekanija Basa Fazana, which is considering the findings and the typology of ceramic artefacts remains both production dates also from the beginning of the first century until the beginning of Vespasian`s reign. Excavations villas samples of building materials, brick villas show that dates back to the first century, from the time of imperial rule.
