Seven Days of Istrian Asparagus during March, April and May will enable true "šparogurmanima" enjoying the imaginative, tasty and fragrant delicacies prepared on the basis of the Istrian wild asparagus, the most famous omelets, soups, homemade pasta and risotto, through the skillful combination of meat and fish to delicious desserts.Asparagus is one of the most prized wild crops that thrive in Istria, and harvested from mid-March to late April. Grows in remote places, often thorny bushes in the shelter, so the preconditions for its picking Hawkeye, iron will and a willingness to occasional scratch.
